The Rabbit And The Tortoise Story For Kids

              A rabbit and a tortoise were good friends. One day a rabbit was boasting about how fast he could run. He was laughing at the tortoise for being so slow. One day they decided to have a race.

The race began. The rabbit ran very fast. The tortoise moved very slowly.

The rabbit looked back. The tortoise was very far behind. He was hot and tired and decided to stop and take a short nap. So he went to sleep. The tortoise kept moving slowly but steadily.

When the rabbit woke up. The tortoise had already reached the winning post. thus, the tortoise won the race.

Moral of the story 

• Slow and steady wins  the race.
• Never underestimate the weakest opponent.
