                               Fox And The Grapes  

It was a hot day. A fox was feeling very thirsty. He looked for water here and there. He saw a bunch of grapes. The grapes looked lovely and juicy. “Just the thing to quench my thirst,” he thought.

            The fox wanted to eat those grapes. But they were hanging very high. He took a few steps back and jumped and just missed the hanging grapes. Again he took a few paces back and tried to reach the grapes but still failed. He tried again and again, but could not reach the grapes.

Story for kids

 

              At last he turned up his nose and said, "The grapes are sour. I don't like them," and he walked away.

Moral of the story :

• This short story  teaches us to work hard to achieve our goals instead of pretending that it is not worth the try.
• Nothing comes easy without a hard work. So, Work Hard and you will definitely reach to your goals.
